Shoooo, I know my loyal fans have been missing me again. I've been a very busy little monkey. I appear hear and there all over town, but one of the most fun events lately was the Riverhawk Music Festival this last November. I got to meet some of my biggest fans! It is run by this really nice guy, Mitch Lind. He is also a musician and part of a band called The Loggerheads. Personally, I have no idea what a loggerhead ish, but it shounds like an interesting name, and I like the way he plays the guitar!

This guy over here is Fred Eaglesmith. He writes and sings really cool songs. I wanted to run away and join his traveling steam show, but Gandma said I wouldn't like all that time on the road. I wanted to send him the picture of me looking down the railroad tracks (he writes a lot of songs about trains) but Gandma said he wouldn't appreciate it and anyway, didn't know how to reach him. Gandma says a lot! And not much of it makes this little monkey happy!

My latest trip was with Gandma, Auntie, and He Who Doesn't Like Me, to Tallahassee to look at a school Auntie wants to go to. I don't know why she wants to go to any more schools! I keep thinking she's finished and then she goes to another school! I don't want her to go. It will be very lonely around here without her. She protects me from all the bad men in this family who like to throw me around! And not only that, she will probably take my best friend Wilbur with her! Then it will be really lonely! Maybe I will have to sneak into her suitcase and go up with her... As long as she doesn't accidentally put me in the wash!

This is my friend, Wilbur. He can be kind of grumpy sometimes, but he's really a very good guy when you get to know him. Just don't do anything with those things on his trotters he calls his glows!!!

I know, I know, adoring public, where have I been? Well, you sheeeee, I'm getting older and it'sh getting harder and harder for my little paws to press these keys, not to mention all the effort of running back and forth from one side of the keyboard to the other. And I just can't sheem to get the Old Lady to type for me!

But I digress. I finally got her to sit down with me sho I could post about my latest adventure! We went to a really neat place waaaaaaayyyyy over on the other shide of the shtate! We shtayed at this really cool house and I made all kinds of new friends!

This pretty little girl kept trying to spy on me from behind a plant. I think my favorite new friend was the little boy on the bench. None of the shaid much though..

But the best news is, I CAUGHT A FISH!!! And it was huge!!! Ok, so maybe the Man With The Fuzzy Face helped a little, and maybe I wasn't actually over water because then I would have been completely freaked out, but hey, I'm holding a fishing pole and there's a fish on it, so I must have caught it, right?!!!?

This really cool house is right next to a railroad. The Man With The Fuzzy Face and the Old Lady keep complaining about the train whistles at 2:00 in the morning, but I can't help but look down the track and wistfully wonder what might be down there? Where would it lead if I jumped on one of those trains and rode it all the way to the end of the line? But then I think of Daddy and all the cuddling and bananas I might miss out on.... So I guess I'll stay right where I am!

I'm on stage again! Ok well maybe Gandma is on stage, but I'm helping her! I helped her get her makeup on, her dress on straight and her hair perfect for the opening night of Red Rooster Tales! And how does she thank me?! She made me take a bath this morning!!!! I hate baths!

OH NO!!! HELP! HELP!! MY HOUSE IS ON FIRE!!! I was moving it to a nicer location under more lovely trees, when a spark jumped out of the families fire and set it ablaze! What will I do?!!! Where will I live?!!! Well, ok, I haven't spent a lot of time there lately, because it is much more fun to sleep with Daddy, Auntie, Gandma and even the Man with the Fuzzy Face, but it was MY HOUSE!! Daddy made it just for me! And now it is all gone! Boo hoo hoo!!!

GeoCache

Today I made a new friend down at Ft. Hamer Park. She taught me all about GeoCaching. Apparently there are little cache's of goodies all over the world and you can find them and sign your name. This one was actually in the woods at Ft. Hamer Park! You are supposed to sign the little "guest book" and sometimes add a little treat or take something out if you can't live without it. I didn't see any bananas, so I just signed the paper. It was a lot of fun. I'm going to get the old lady to find it on the computer so I can learn more about it!

Third Day in Paris!

We went to the Louvre today! I think we only saw about 40% of the whole thing, and Auntie and The One Who Doesn't Like Me didn't think to buy a two day pass :c I think I met my long lost cousin while there though! He didn't say much, but he looks just like me!

I also met this guy with wings. He seemed pretty cool at first, but things went downhill really fast! Luckily Auntie saved me before things got too out of hand.

Second Day in Paris!

Today we went on a big boat! It took us all up and down the big river in the middle of Paris called the Seine. It was very pretty! Although I am very afraid of water.. This boat had big glass windows to keep little monkeys from falling overboard, which made me feel much better.

We didn't do much on the first day, at least I don't think we did much on the first day.. Auntie wouldn't take me out of her backpack, but I felt us bumping around a lot!

The bed we are sleeping on is all pink! My friend Wilbur is super happy about this. He loves the color pink.

Oh, I almost forgot! We went alllllll the way up to the tippity top of the Eiffel Tower! We stopped at the bottom first of course, I had to look up so far just to see the top! When we got to the top it was dark out (it doesn't get dark here until 10:30 at night!!), but the lights from up there were beautiful!
